Profit Flow Group 05 [Free Trade Idea] Robinhood has a new industry enemy

Hello there! Coach JR here with another free trade idea here for you.

You might know of Robinhood, everyone’s favorite trading and investing app. Well, a new challenger has entered the arena…

And its name is PayPal.

See, PayPal just brought on a brokerage industry veteran as their CEO. His name is Rich Hagen.

This guy founded and was CEO of TradeKing. TradeKing was acquired by Ally Financial and became Ally Invest. Ally let Rich remain as CEO of Ally Financial’s new brokerage arm.

So if PayPal hires this same guy, that tells me they’re eager to get a piece of the brokerage industry pie.

In fact, his predecessor, Dan Schulman made it clear in February that he sees “investment capabilities” as part of PayPal’s long-term vision.

And this isn’t their first foray into the investing world: PayPal already lets users buy, sell, hold, and even pay for things with 4 cryptos:

Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Ethereum (ETH)
Litecoin (LTC)
